What video file size is supported on each platform?

In constant updating, video and audiovisual file transfer platforms (photos, videos and music) support ever-increasing file sizes on their servers. They thus guarantee good quality transmission and display of videos on the different screens of their consumers. Here are some of the most common platforms for transferring and storing files online and how much each currently supports.

Email (up to 20MB)

Through email (mostly) you can send an attachment up to a maximum of 20 MB (Mega Bytes). If you want to send more files or files larger than that, you will need to send several emails, share with the Cloud or use a service online file transfer.

Facebook (up to 4GB)

Facebook accepts videos that are less than 241 minutes long and smaller than 4 GB.

Instagram (650MB up to 3.6GB)

Currently the maximum file size for videos that are 10 minutes or less supported by Instagram is 650MB. The maximum file size for videos lasting up to 60 minutes is 3.6 GB, but for them to work they must be uploaded by Instagram on the web. (https://instagram.com )

Youtube (500MB up to 128GB)

The maximum file size you can upload is 128 GB or 12 hours, whichever is less.

Google My Business (up to 75MB)< /h2>

Videos must be no longer than 30 seconds and the video file must be no more than 75 MB.

Whatsapp (16MB)

Whatsapp sends files by default is 16 MB for audio, video and photos.

How to send files over 16Mb in Whatsapp:

Access Whatsapp Web from a computer. (https://web.whatsapp.com )
Choose the group or person you would like to send the video file to from the list on the left side, and click once on it.
Click the Attach icon. 📎
Browse for Photos and Videos and click.
Done! Simply select the desired file on your computer and click Open.
